Hey everyone!
We know many of you come here looking for the quickest path from “hello world” to real-world game features. Today we’ve got something that should make your life a lot easier.
We just released five complete Unity sample projects for Nakama that implement the most popular multiplayer systems we’ve seen game studios use:
-
Leaderboards - Weekly and global rankings with real-time updates
-
Friends - Social system with friend requests and live notifications
-
Groups - Guilds/clans with role management and moderation tools
-
Tournaments - Time-limited events
-
Cloud Save - Cross-device progression and data persistence
Each of these projects is ready to run out-of-the-box as soon as you download them (they’re connected to our demo server on Heroic Cloud).
So instead of piecing together code from docs and forum posts, you can use these sample projects to learn about Nakama and start building right away. Each project:
-
Includes all the UI and scripts
-
Has minimal boilerplate - they’re focused on the features you need
-
Comes with an account switcher for testing multi-user scenarios
Check out the full blog post for a detailed walkthrough of each project, or jump straight to the docs to start building.
