Nakama console doesn't work with nginx proxy_pass

hello again. Trying to use nginx as proxy with ssl setup. I made very simple config which is:

server

    listen 443 ssl;
    listen [::]:443 ssl;
    listen 80;

    server_name example.com;

    ssl_certificate /etc/crt/domains/example.com/example.crt;
    ssl_certificate_key /etc/crt/domains/example.com/example.key;
    ssl_trusted_certificate /etc/crt/domains/example.com/example.pem;


    location /nakama/ {
        proxy_pass http://127.0.0.1:7351/;
    }
}

When I go to the page https://example.com/nakama the browser tab title is “Nakama Console”, but page body is white blank. If I use location / { and use https://example.com/ then all good. But I really need to use another location for the console. Am I overlooking something? Is there any additional params for nginx should be set?

Rather than pointing to location /nakama/ you can create a subdomain like nakama-console.example.com then do proxy_pass on location /

proxy_pass kinda works because I get the response with console page content:

and in the browser console I see:

I just don’t know from where problem comes - something specific should be setup in nginx or there is a problem with Nakama (P.S. I don’t use docker)

The reason is the console expects to be deployed on the root. If you will deploy it on subfolder like domain.com/nakama, all assets will be 404. That’s why i suggested above to use subdomain instead

@seiferxiii thanks for advice, I was seeking the exact solution, but I don’t have a time for it and will just go with docker
